Killing me.

This little ancient, empty shop is killing me. Two blocks from my apartment, lovely old entrance and big display windows...barren and lifeless. There's also a twin shop next door, equally as desolate. I would love one for a shop and the boy could do his tattoos next door, twin shops.

A few weeks back I won two giveaway competitions, highly unusual but amazing! Here's my winnings above....the first was a gift certificate to Deidre's gorgeous shop Hinterland Vintage, this dress was calling to me in a very loud megaphone voice right in my ear, so comfortable!.....next up is this sweet birdie pin from Bombshell Bettie's Vintage, these handmade beauties are so adorable and I think this one might be perching on all my dresses this month. Thanks ladies!

80's cuteness.

Never made it, part two.

A few weeks back a yard sale yielded a stash of 1920-40's dresses, kept this one for myself. Some threads are loose, some fading, rather than list it I put it on...and it's probably one of the most comfortable dresses I have. Visiting the same yard sale-r this weekend so hope to have some very similar dresses in the shop pretty soon, (if they make it).

Thrifted this black and white knit dress yesterday, not sure of era but seems like it could
be 1940's. Unfortunately while photographing for the shop it kind of became mine....the shoes however are in the shop right now....

Comfort before...

Maybe no fashion awards here but I spend part of the day on the subway and a big part in the office, so my vintage has to come with a little comfort...at least during the week! Am super happy with these two recent Etsy purchases, high waisted black floral skirt...a fave!
