Though I had heard the name Josephine Baker I really knew nothing about this lady until Quincy from Qs Daydream sent me a wonderful book about her life, written by one of her adopted sons Jean Claude-Baker and called The Hungry Heart, this book really is so fascinating....and I have only just begun to really get into it. I also figure the book would make a great Christmas present for a lady or gent who loves history, fashion, civil rights, the 20's....and a little nudity thrown in for good measure, thanks for sending this to me Quincy!
Josephine Baker looks like she knows she is a princess of has some delicious secret she is keeping. You know?! The book sounds good. I want to read it!
