Black Beauty.

I was photographing a bunch of bright pieces for the shop today but this beautiful late Victorian piece is the kind of thing that really rocks my boat! Call me gloomy but dark, distressed and Victorian is my favourite kind of thing....this jacket is actually the side panels on this blog. My seamstress commented it'd a be a fabulous piece to take along to the Manhattan Vintage Show, but I just can't part with it, especially since it would most probably be taken apart for the beading. My golden age syndrome just gets worse....
