So many Sherlocks so little time (yes she is unrelated in the pic above but her tweedy look fits the bill huh!)....not sure about you but my favourite Sherlock is Jeremy Brett from the early 80s...he's the right amount of campy, mysterious, dramatic and sly....the new productions are ok but just seem so slick, too dramatic, though I concede when the lead is "in real life" is called Benedict Cumberbatch, then, well that's pretty cool. Just shot this very Sherlock style cape coat today and next week it will be snuggling up to other fall finds in the shop....it's a large/plus size and features detachable cape. So you can take off the superhero part when you get home. Who is your fave Sherlock?

wearable antiques...

You know as a seller I hardly ever keep items, my closet is really small which is weird for what I do for a living...except wearable Edwardian clothing...it's my number one love and this past weekend I scored this outrageously great blouse for...$5. It's a smidgeon too large but who cares, must have looked fabulous with a long cream linen skirt...yesterday I wore it with these men's 1930s wool pants which are now in the shop, was tempted also to keep them as they fit my baby belly pretty well (apologies for bare tummy shot)! what's your number 1-always keep-find ladies?

Well, here are Giana and I at the Jazz Age party again! we had an absolute blast and I only wish I had lugged my better camera but honestly you'd be taking pics ALL day of the wonderful clothes....here are some I snapped with my iphone on the way to the treacherous port-o-loo's....which is what we call 'em down under! enjoy these fine dressed folk!

Getting a little bigger over here....but it's all good because now I fit a lot of skirts in the shop that

I didn't before! this Space Camp tee belonged to my husband when he was 11 years old...space camp! we found out yesterday this little bean is a BOY! super happy.

p.s. thanks to Edwina White for the skirt....couldn't quite sell it....
